The CPC's framework agreement for Audit Services provides members with a fast and compliant route to procure a full range of internal and external audit and/or audit-related services.

The framework covers all the requirements outlined in the Joint Audit Code of Practice and the Academies Financial Handbook 2016, and ensures members are covered by any future conditions imposed by the UK Government, Funding Bodies, Department for Education and other relevant bodies.

Internal and External Audit are assurance functions that provide an independent and objective opinion on organisational controls, use of funds and resources, and compliance with financial regulations. Audit services can also include financial health assessments, verification of financial accounts, statements of corporate governance, reports on regularity, and reviews of financial value standards.

It was awarded on 5th December 2016 and runs to 4th December 2019 with a possible extension to 4th December 2020.
