The Electrical Materials framework has been extended by six months, and will now expire on 31st July 2023. Contracting Authority NWUPC are working on a new agreement for Facilities Supplies which will incorporate Electrical Materials into its scope. They are hopeful the new framework will be available to members in August 2023.

The purpose of this framework agreement is to deliver an efficient and compliant route to market for participating public bodies, by minimising the resource and providing value for money.

The agreement includes, but is not limited to, the scope as follows: Cable, Cable Management, Distribution and Switchgear; Heating, Ventilation and Washroom; Lamps, Lighting Control Gear, Luminaires, Security and Fire; Sustainable Energy Solutions, Test Equipment and Wiring Accessories.

Suppliers were able to offer, though it was not a mandatory requirement that the Supplier provide all, or any, of the following associated services:

  • Lighting Scheme Design and Installation
  • Energy Saving Surveys
  • Removal, disposal and recycling services
  • Managed Services including but not limited to Managed Stores.
